Speaking English

Learn English by having fun in the world’s most multicultural city! Improve your speaking and listening quickly in this three-week intensive course designed to prepare you for a wide range of situations. Sign up for additional workshops, a wide array of trips and activities, presentations and events within the University of Toronto, and our popular afternoon Coffee Chat to participate in instructor-led speaking activities over refreshments.

The overall objective of this course is to build skills in the areas of speaking, listening and vocabulary. You will review essential grammar and pronunciation points, and learn to manage conversation and discussion, and apply appropriate socio-cultural rules. We have fun lively classes, four hours a day, five days a week, After class, the fun and learning don’t stop, as we have activities afterward, many of which are free or at very affordable prices. Some of our activities include movie nights, canoeing, sporting events and games nights, as well as trips to Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, and Quebec.
